Director, Legislative Affairs, American Trucking Associations
Sean Garcia is director of legislative affairs with the American Trucking Associations, the nation’s leading organization representing the interests of the trucking industry.
As a director of legislative affairs, Garcia contributes to ATA’s efforts to advance a pro-trucking, pro-safety, pro-efficiency agenda on Capitol Hill.
Prior to his time with ATA, Garcia was senior legislative assistant to Rep. Rick Larsen (D-Washington).
Garcia came to ATA in 2023. Outside of work, Garcia is active with the Alexandria Country Day School Association of Parents and Families and enjoys coaching his kids’ various sports teams. Sean and his wife Lindsay live in Alexandria, Virginia, with their two kids, Tucker and Kennedy. A native of the Pacific Northwest, he has a Masters in Professional Studies in Legislative Affairs from the George Washington University.
