After law school, Curt returned home to practice with his father, Bill Fenley, and his partner, Herman Bate, and to build the firm's litigation practice. For over 30 years, Curt has focused his practice in civil trial litigation, with over 120 case tried to a jury verdict. The vast majority of his cases have been in 18-wheeler/automobile and employment defense litigation. His success has been recognized by admission into the American Board of Trial Advocates, Texas Super Lawyers and International Academy of Trial Lawyers. He graduated from Baylor University and Baylor School of Law. He is admitted to practice in all Texas state courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Southern, and Northern Districts of Texas, the United States 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of many professional organizations, including, the Trucking Industry Defense Association, the Transportation Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute, the American Board of Trial Advocates, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, and the Association of Defense Trial Lawyers.
