Alicia Echols is an accomplished logistics leader with over 16 years of domestic logistics experience. She currently serves as the Director of Safety & Compliance at Bennett Heavy & Specialized, LLC, where she oversees all aspects of regulatory compliance related to the safe transportation of hazardous materials.
In her role, Alicia ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations surrounding permitting, registrations, and training. She is also responsible for implementing Bennett's safety initiatives, ensuring that safety is the top priority for all drivers, contractors, and employees
Alicia has a proven track record of success in DOT highway safety regulatory compliance, with a history of building programs and teams from the ground up. She has developed and implemented hazardous materials standard operating procedures and training programs to mitigate the risks associated with the transport of ammunition, explosives, and radioactive materials in support of government freight operations.
Alicia's expertise and commitment to safety have made her an asset to the logistics industry. She serves as the Co-Chair of the Bennett Family of Companies Advisory Board. Along with her designated responsibilities, Alicia plays a large role in Bennett’s Women in the Driver’s Seat – a program created to empower and support female leaders and drivers in transportation.
